NORTH AMERICAN BLOKART SAILING ASSOCIATION
WILDWOOD  BEACH BLOKART SAIL OCTOBER 9-12,2014

This Fall we will be having our semi- annual blokart event. The group’s new set up location was excellent at Cressi Ave on the beach, which is the end of the Wildwood Boardwalk. A lot more people came down to observe the blokarts and ask questions at this location. As usual most of the sailors who had extra equipment brought it to share so that most people were who came for a demo ride were able to sail and other blokart owners who needed a bigger or smaller sail were able to borrow one. This is a North American Blokart Sailing Association (NABSA) official event with NABSA securing the permits and providing the liability insurance certificates to the city of Wildwood and Wildwood Crest. NABSA  All participants will be required to sign a waiver. Any questions contact "Fran PresidentNABSA" < This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. LODGING INFORMATION; Last spring most of the blokart group stayed at the Adventure Oceanfront Inn and we were very satisfied with the location and accommodations. It is located at Cressi Ave. on the beach right at the start of Wildwood Crest where we set up to go blokart sailing. The rooms are much larger and we just rolled our blokarts into their garage for overnight storage.  Most of us when down to the Shalimar Sat. night to join the kite buggiers for the cookout.

NABSA BLOKART SAILING BADER FIELD JULY 9

Wednesday July 9 will be the first official day for Blokart sailing on Bader Field, Atlantic City, NJ, 10 AM to sunset. As you can see in the pictures the runways are situated  so that we can sail with the wind from any direction. Some of us were able to test the runways a few months ago and they are fast and in great condition.

The North American Blokart Sailing Association (NABSA) nabsa.org has made the arrangement and provided the insurance to use the venue. There is a $300.00 fee to use the site each time we use it, East Coast Landsailing LLC  has paid the the fee to use of the site the first few times NABSA members use it. if you are not a member you are welcome to sail with us the first time before joining. Helmets are required. I and some members will have some extra blokarts with them if you are interested in trying blokart sailing for the first time.
As of today the weather forecast for July 9 looks good.I will send out a email on Mon.or Tues updating weather conditions.

I will send out a update on Monday to let you know that the sailing date is a go. After the first sailing date we can look at future dates.

DIRECTIONS;  Exit 2 Atlantic City Expressway to 322. Turn left at the red light just past the Mc Donald's. drive on to the airport area. I will have a shade shelter, bring water and food.

TIME: 11:00 AM to sunset wind permitting.
